As of February 2025
(Based off of Phoenix Nest’s and Bad Dog’s T.O.S)
By commissioning Coyotes Calling (CC) you agree to all the terms stated in this form. For more information please visit my FAQ page.
Age:
All clients must be at least 18 years of age to commission a custom product from CC. I will not work on custom commissions or sell my work to minors. Proof of age is required before any payments can be accepted via government issued ID such as a drivers license, passport, age of majority or state ID card. (The only information I require is your legal name, and age, the client is free to black out other unwanted information at their comfort.)
If the stated age is not corresponding to the client's actual legal age, CC reserves the right to terminate the commission without refund and blacklist the client. CC reserves the right to do background checks to confirm a client's age and in some cases I.D may be requested.
Refusal of service:
CC reserves the right to refuse work with anyone with reasoning being determined by CC. Harassment will not be tolerated in any way, if a client is to display harassment in any form as determined by CC, CC reserves the right to terminate the commission.
Pricing:
Any quote given by CC is valid for 3 months, after the 3 month time frame the quote is subject to change. Shipping costs are not included in quotes. Quotes are given in CAD or the USD equivalent exchange.
Prices are mainly shown in CAD or USD but can be shown in the current exchange rate of the clients currency.

Payment Methods and Plans.
Options:
All payments will be through PayPal invoice at this time, E-transfer is preferred if the client is domestic (lives in Canada) and is comfortable using E-transfer.
All payments will be made in CAD.
Plans:
Full payment is preferred and defined by the full quoted total being 100% paid off within a calendar week of the clients project being accepted.

CC does accept payment plans. (read below)
Shorter payment plans with larger deposits are preferred (most common plans are weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). Payment plans can be established to suit your needs but keep in mind that longer payment plans mean a longer wait time for construction to begin on your suit.
In regards to monthly payment plans, it is preferred that payments do not exceed 2 months for a head, 3 months for a partial/ light partial, and 6 months for a fullsuit. Longer payment plans can be discussed but there will be a 3% fee added to the quoted total. **However, if the client is charged for an extended payment plan, but completes payments before they exceed the stated time frames above corresponding to their commission type, they are entitled to a refund of the 3% charge.
Once dates have been discussed for the payments, payments may begin. To ensure your commission slot with CC a 30% down payment of the quoted total is required, 15% of the quoted total is Non-refundable as this covers materials and my time. (If the client pays in full, 15% of the commission cost still remains non-refundable).
At CC, I too am a person and understand that life can be challenging at times, which is why I am flexible with payment plans and offer a 5 day grace period from the agreed payment dates. Although, if late payments exceed the 5 day grace period a $15 non refundable late fee will be added to the commission cost for each additional day exceeded. Extenuating circumstances can be discussed.
Construction:
Construction cannot begin on a project until at least 75% of the quoted total is paid off.
Work in progress (WIP):
Work in progress photos will be sent via the clients choice of communication. The client has the right to privately share work in progress pictures unless stated otherwise.
Deadlines and completion dates:
CC can accept requested completion dates and deadlines for some projects but cannot accommodate all. It is best to discuss potential deadlines as early as possible for higher chance of accommodation. A client may request a certain completion date that is not a deadline, and here at CC I can try to work around it, but I am not obligated to meet it. CC is made of one person, not a team, please understand. CC can occasionally accept rush fees for projects, but they are offer based and depend on many factors. Rush fees will not be implemented until paid in full separate to the standard commission cost. For more information please see my FAQ.
Shipping:
Any quote given does not include shipping or any extra fees that may come upon receiving your product. All shipping costs must be paid by the client unless stated otherwise.
CC is based in Canada, but does ship internationally, shipping is usually through Canada Post and all parcels will have tracking. The client can request a specific shipping company.
Shipping rates will be discussed with the client, and need to be paid before I can bring your parcel to the post office (if a shipping discount was discussed, the client will be charged the discounted total). Once your costume is mailed you will receive a photo of the receipt with the tracking number attached. Once your parcel has left Canada it is out of my reach and CC is no longer responsible for it.
CC is not responsible for lost or stolen mail.
Refunds & Returns:
15% of the total commission cost is non refundable along with any additional fees added to the commission cost due to late payments. Refunds are dealt with on a case by case basis, refunds will not be issued if the project is finished or 75% finished as deemed by CC. Refunds may not be able to be repaid in full immediately upon request.
CC does not accept returns.
If a rush fee was paid for, and the project was not completed by the agreed upon date the client is entitled to a full refund of the rush fee.
